Opinel has been making its range of world-famous folding lock-knives since 1890 in France.The uniquely shaped carbon steel blade is heat treated to more than 800 degrees Centigrade and generously tempered. Then it is skilfully fitted into its handle to suit the hand perfectly. Our model, the No.7, features a 3in.(7cm) blade and the unique twist blade-locking mechanism to stop the blade opening or closing accidentally.
